belly pics and cuppy cakes

I figured since I'm 24 weeks pregnant, that maybe I would give in and take an official belly picture. With Savannah, I took pictures pretty much every two weeks from the time I started to show. With Benjamin, I think I took one around 12 weeks and then again at 17 weeks and then a couple more right before I gave birth. This little person's gestational journey will be much less documented. That's alright, at least now I'll have proof that I was actually the one to carry this tiny human.

So today(in addition to taking belly pics), I'm pretty sure my life changed. Holly and Mom got me out of the house -which is a feat in an of itself - to drive around town making various stops. The first stop was the most important... at least to me (as evidenced by my facial expression). I experienced a bit of euphoria today as I partook of the MOST DELICIOUS CUPCAKES I HAVE EVER EATEN. That's right, I'm not kidding...I mean, why would I joke about something like that? The best part? Holly's friend and neighbor is the baker/creator of these cupcakes and I've come to the conclusion that she must have a gift. We sampled several flavors but my personal favorites were the Coconut Cream (seen in photo) and the Red Velvet. They were moist, they were flavorful, and everything was made from scratch. I think I know what I want for my birthday.
