Hi Hello Blog world! So, I've taken a 6 month break, and I'm really wishing I had one of those cool gel cushions to sit on while I try to catch up. Rather than trying to explain why I've been gone for so long (like I did in every one of my teenage journals each time I took a lengthy break), I'll just get started and if I feel like talking, I will. But until then I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Up first?
Christmas 2012!!!
Running out to see what Santa brought. Wonder why the youngest is not in this picture? We thought it prudent to let him sleep for as loooong as he wanted. For the sake of everyone.
SO many presents, so much joy, and so much excitement. It seems like every year, I try to get all of my shopping done early so I don't have to stress about shopping for presents in December. But then, it's so fun to be a part of the hustle and bustle and so I venture out a time or two and end up buying more. Next year, I'm resolving to tone it down. But sincerely, we shared so many nights in the month of December reading books about Christmas, thinking about our Savior and how precious he is to us, and spending good, good, time with family. I'm always so sad when it's all over, and even now in the month of April, just after we celebrated His Resurrection, I'm already looking forward to Christmas again. Love it.
