This is the conversation that took place in our car shortly after the Thackeray family Christmas party.
Tom: "I can't believe Santa actually gave you guys presents!"
Savannah: "That wasn't Santa, that was Papa Milt!"
(a short pause for giggles)
Tom: "How do you know?"
Savannah: "Cuz I saw his shoes!!!"
Then we went on to have the conversation about how Papa Milt is one of Santa's "special helpers". Kids - you can't put anything past them. :)
