Savannah has been spending a lot of her spare time lately drawing. Seriously, it's her favorite thing to do and I encourage it because it makes her happy and I love to see her creativity. This afternoon she literally spent an hour and a half quietly drawing down in our toy/computer room. When she emerged she had about 10 pages of artwork that she wanted me to carefully examine. A lot of it was very much like the artwork that she drew the other day but with a little more detail. After I had looked over her masterpieces and placed them on the kitchen table she asked if she could go outside. It was very apparent that she didn't like my response of, "you can in 15 minutes" because she immediately replied through pouty lips while shaking her finger at me,
"Mom! You better be nice for me or else I won't draw you nice pictures anymore!!"
I have a feeling that's not the last time that threat will be used.

She's so funny! She and Talia could get together and draw their little hearts out. Talia loves to come show me her pictures and say, "Isn't it wonderful?" Yes, it is!
