Empty Nest
I don't know what happened but I haven't seen or heard Mrs. Robinson for two days now. The weather finally turned warm and beautiful and she is nowhere to be found. I'm really quite sad. I knew that there was a chance that once she laid her eggs that they might not survive, but we didn't even make it to that stage. I mean, why would she spend almost an entire week building a nest only to leave it empty? Now I'm not sure how long to leave her nest before I take it down. Bye, bye, Mrs. Robinson.

I'm sorry. I hope she comes back. We had a little nest right outside our front door in the hanging basket of flowers (really dumb place for the birds to build their nest), but it was really cool to see everything so up close and personal.
