After a very stressful, whine filled, back talking, non-compliant, morning, I called out to Tom as I was leaving the house with the screaming, crying, children and said, "I don't want to be Mom today!!!" Of course Benjamin immediately said,
"Mom!"
"Yes, Benjamin?"
"Do you want to be Heidi?"
I laughed to myself. Yes, somedays I would much rather just be Heidi, I thought. I love you, Benjamin.
