Some women have no problem managing lots of children. I'm not one of them. I am uptight enough with my own children let alone watching other people's children. That doesn't mean I never want my kids to have friends over. As a matter of fact, our house has become the "hang out house" as of late (which I love). But I'm not the type of mom who is naturally laid back, easy going, and relaxed. I''m working on it. But it's just that...work.
Wendy needed help watching some of her kids while she and Dan were rehearsing for Seven Brides for Seven Brothers so I volunteered to take care of them on her birthday. To my surprise, it actually went really well! Despite having 2 baby boys that are within a month of each other, the mood was pretty laid back. And I didn't even have a panic attack. Go me! Ha ha.
