This is HALLOWEEN

When October 31st rolled around this year, we had already attended FIVE Halloween events. That's even mild compared to years past. For those of you who don't know, I am considered the "scrooge" of Halloween and it just gets worse the older I become. But with the Van Wagenen Halloween Party as motivation, I found the strength to dress up one more time. Katie was in town visiting and decided to pay homage to the 80's while Tom and I were "War and Peace". Holly and Jeremy dressed up as The Witch and the 50's Guy while Amy and Chris were the 50's Gal and the "dud" as Chris decided not to dress up at all (we still love you, Christopher)! Mindy and Ryan were an unlikey pair dressed as the Bunny and Mullet Man. It turned out to be a fun and memorable evening, my favorite memory being the "dance off" for 2nd place prize in the costume contest. As the picture clearly shows, I was the winner!!

What a clever costume idea! And I think Jane is absolutely the most perfect Alice in Wonderland I have ever seen. So cute!
