Benjamin turned 6 in June and after 6 years, he FINALLY had his FIRST friend party. So naturally, we made it a huge deal. Bounce house, endless friends, party all day. It was a little chaotic there for a while with just me trying to manage all of the kids (with the help of our neighbor), but it ended up turning out very well. At the end of the day the kids were tired and extremely happy.
BENJAMIN
* Has turned into quite the affectionate child. For someone who was not a cuddler as a baby and toddler, he sure loves to be hugged, kissed, and cuddled, and...I LOVE it.
* He is very curious and self motivated. He LOVES to read and will pick up any book and attempt to read it. As he's reading he will shout out, "What does _______ say?" and spell it out.
*He still loves soccer, football, basketball, etc, etc, etc, and will start his first Junior Jazz basketball season this winter
*He's good at making friends and loves his best friend, Zach
*He's not afraid to try new foods. The other day I bought some crunchy shrimp rolls and he wanted a bite. As soon as his mouth hit the seaweed he politely declined my offer. But, at least he tried!!
He's to another year of learning and having fun, Benj!!
