Benjamin had a great birthday this year! We kept it simple and went to the premier of Toy Story 3 and boy did we all love it. Aunt Holly lent us her culinary skills and made Benjamin's Toy Story themed cake and we all enjoyed Benjamin's clothing choice for the day. Especially the oh so masculine off the shoulder look. Here are some of the things Benjamin loves.
Benjamin LOVES:
*to sing "I love to see the Temple". Apparently he is a star singer in nursery.
*to run, hop, jump, be and be boy
*to do everything "Nana"(savannah) is doing
*to tease savannah. and he's REALLY good at it
*to play tennis
*to make silly faces
*to drink orange juice
*anything Buzz lightyear or anything Toy Story
*to get dressed by himself
*to wear his big boy underwear! he potty trained himself right before we left for California. not the best timing, but somehow he did it! way to go Benj!!
*to play "Starfall.com", and knows most of his letters!
This has been a big year for Benjamin!! He gave up his pacifier and blanket affectionately known as "binky blanket", he transitioned to a big boy bed, he welcomed a new little brother into the family, and he potty trained himself!! Benjamin, Benjamin, Benjamin, what can I say? You bring that little extra something to the family that makes us laugh, sometimes makes us cry, but always reminds us how grateful we are to have you with us as a part of our family. Sometimes It's hard for me to imagine that you were the one born without a heartbeat. Three years later and you continue to amaze us as we throw around the phrase, "who needs oxygen?" I love you Benj, you will always be my favorite boy.
