I puked on my sister and my mom cleaned it up

First of all, if you haven't read the below announcement on Thackeray baby #3, you might want to read that first.

Now, you understand "why" I am puking just not why I puked on Holly. Let me explain. But first a small caution. If you have a weak stomach, you may not want to read the following explanation.

This pregnancy has taken its toll on me. After the first month or so I stopped throwing up a couple times and a day and traded it in for throwing up every once in awhile. Doesn't mean I don't fight the urge to vomit nearly every minute of the day, just means I am mostly successful in preventing myself from the unpleasant experience of regurgitation. My "morning" sickness is always worse at night. I am in bed by 7:30 every night because staying up any later is just torture. So, at around 7:00 PM I take my evening medication (Unisom and b6) to help keep the nausea away during the night.

Well, tonight while Holly was baking cookies I came into the kitchen to take my meds. I have to concentrate really hard while swallowing them because if I'm not careful I WILL gag, and then if I gag....well, you get the picture. Tonight, I was successful in taking my medication, not so successful in keeping myself from gagging. I could tell what was about to happen so I ran outside hoping to breathe it off. As I stepped back inside it was like all of the puking etiquette I learned as a child went right out the door. Instead of running back outside, I darted for the bathroom which of course, was much further away. I'm sure if Holly's reaction could have been played in slow motion, it would have gone something like this: complete look of terror moving across her face as she brought her arm up to shield her face while yelling, "noooooooooooo!" Instead, all I heard was the vomit splashing everywhere amid my frantic footsteps along the way to the bathroom. Was the puke on Holly's arm and back? Yes. Was it on the floors and the walls? Yes. Was it in the cookie dough? We'll never know for sure. The most shocking reaction came from both me and Holly. In between the horrible heaves into the toilet bowl, Holly and I were... laughing. I guess we couldn't believe what had just taken place. Then came my angelic mother with her sponge and mop to wipe up the mess. She must have taken pity on me.

I came to a conclusion tonight that I have known for awhile but have just confirmed again: I have a really good mother and sister.

HAHAHAHA! I love this. Only mildly disgusted... I definitely would not be laughing if my sister puked all over me. One lucky chica you are.

I am sorry you are so pukey (and so is Holly, apparently) but you know it will be worth it in the end.
