Arriving...

April 2010 - baby Thackeray #3! First of all, this child is a spitting image of Benjamin even at 11 weeks gestation!! Although we haven't found out the sex yet I would say boy from this picture. I'm still conflicted though because I have felt that it is a girl pretty much the entire pregnancy so we'll see! Tom and I plan on finding out the sex but keeping it a secret from the rest of the world until he or she makes their grand appearance in April.

We have been in excellent hands because Uncle Steve is the Dr. for this pregnancy and we are grateful for the care and concern he has given us thus far. We are monitoring the pregnancy closely and expect that things will be very different this time around as far as new sensations and feelings as the baby grows and my uterus stretches. The plans are to deliver the baby via c-section at the end of April when I will be 36-37 weeks just to ensure that I don't labor on my own.

We are excited, humbled, grateful, nervous, and a little terrified at times about this pregnancy. It has been my most difficult pregnancy by far physically, emotionally, and mentally. I am struggling with not puking during the day and dreaming of devouring chocolate cake at night. Talk about conflicted!! We will continue to keep you updated on how the pregnancy is progressing.
