Christmas at Temple Square

The months of November and December have been a flurry of activity. We did manage to make it to Temple square to see the lights and thanks to Stu and Lanea, we actually got a picture to prove that we were there! You know, for being such an avid lover of pictures and family history you would think that I would make more of an effort to actually document my own family in taking more pictures. Maybe that will be one of my New Year's resolutions for '09...hmmm.

On another note, Tom and I just returned from a lengthy stay in So. California to commemorate our 10 year anniversary (I'll post pictures when I get a chance...which incidentally may not be for awhile) but since today is our actual anniversary I felt the need to express my thankfulness for being married to Tom these past 10 years. It's been a journey, but worth it every step of the way. One of the things we tend to do at the end of the day is to reflect on our years of being married; places we've lived, people we've met, things we've accomplished. And even though it was 6 years before we introduced children into the mix we feel like life really began for us when we were blessed with Savannah and then Benjamin. In fact we have a hard time remembering what we did before our kids came along. Well, of course we can remember because those years seemed to move so slow at the time, but our purpose in life was only enhanced when our children came into our lives. There really is joy in understanding the importance of family and the Plan of Salvation. I'm just so grateful. I love you Tom, Savvy, and Benj. You are the light of my life.
