Thirty-One Reasons to Celebrate

I've decided that one of the keys to happiness is to find reasons to celebrate, and celebrate often! The only requirements are to surround yourself with good friends and enjoy good food. Well since Tom and I love our neighbors Dan and Wendy and they are always up for sharing good food, we try to celebrate as often as we can. This month's reason to celebrate? We are all the ripe old age of 31! And since that will only be the case for a short period of time (Wendy's 32nd birthday is in a couple of weeks) we made arrangements to have a night out on the town. Our initial game plan of taking swing dance lessons fell through, so we ignored the cost of rising gas prices and drove around with one common goal: to find a place where none of us had eaten before and try it. We ended up at a restaurant called "The Dodo" and we lucked out because it was really good! We wanted to end the evening at Baskin Robbins "31" flavors but after devouring two desserts at "The Dodo", we opted to save Baskin Robbins for another night. Here's a couple pictures from the evening.
