more Savannah moments...

I wish everyone could hear Savannah pray. It's one of the sweetest sounds that I've ever heard and my heart seriously feels like it's going to burst every time I listen to her pray. And of course every once in awhile I have to fight back giggles as well. While Savannah was praying tonight, she actually had to say three separate prayers to include everything that she "forgot" to say in her previous prayers. Here are some of the things she prayed for along with her usual list of family and friends:

"Please bless my jammmies, and bless my milk, please bless my beautiful room, and bless the church, and bless James"(now, Savannah has an Uncle named James, but the James she was referring to was her doll that she got for Christmas...we like to think she named the doll after her Uncle James). And as Tom and I were both trying to hold back our mounting giggles Savannah said, while aiming her voice at a lamp I had purchased earlier this week, "and we got that from Target". Of course Tom and I broke out laughing. I really hope that we didn't ruin the reverence of the situation, but we couldn't help ourselves. Savannah talks to her Heavenly Father like he's her best friend. I could learn from her example.
