Every Memorial Day we visit my grandparent's grave. The visit usually isn't very long, but I am reminded of how much love and respect I still feel for these two people who had a profound influence on my life. I love you Grandma and Grandpa Van and can't wait to see you again!

i'm pretty sure we all look so depressed in that top picture..or maybe solemn is more like..i do love going to their grave but i can't help, but get teary eyed when ever i think about them. thanks for this post heidi!

we ARE very grateful for the mattress and honestly..i don't know what it is cuz i don't think it's an uncomfortable mattress, but for some reason both ryan and i toss and turn and can't sleep..maybe we just need that pillow-top thing you guys used?
