Okay, so when I started this blog, Holly sat me down and gave me some advice. She said, "Heidi, I know how much you love to write, but please don't turn your blog into a novel!" Well, today I can't resist. There's something about a rainy day that's so inspiring. This one's for you Holly!
I loooooooove rainy days. The past three days have been very stormy and I have loved to sit inside my home and feel cozy while listening to the rain outside. It's one of the best feelings in the world. I have felt cheated in the weather department this past summer because every time it would rain it would only be for a short time and then we'd be back in the high 90's the very next day. I guess Fall has officially decided to show her face because it's brisk and very refreshing outside. Now if only this weather would last awhile before it got down right freezing. I guess I'll have to appreciate it while it lasts. And while I'm at it, I'll add "rainy days" to my list of favorites.

i too love a rainy day. my favorite actually! i appreciate the dedication and the fact that you did not ramble on for very long:)nice job little one.
Ignore Holly. You don't have to listen to everything she says. I think having a blog is the PERFECT opportunity to brush up on your writing skills. Writing is very therapeutic, and you are great at it, so I for one would not mind reading lengthy ramblings on whatever you choose to write. I think it is great! That's what blogging is all about! You can write whatever the heck, and however much you want! Holly does not have to read it if it is too long for her, but there are others of us (me) who would love to hear what you have to say! Write up a storm!
I also love rainy days...except in Kansas...too scary!
Thank you for that, Kerry. :)
You are welcome Heidi. Sorry Holly..I hope I didn't come across sounding mean! It wasn't meant to be mean at all. Just trying to encourage Heidi to write! She does it so well.
That was definitely not a novel. Remember my post about the book signings? Anyway, it is nice to hear about what you are thinking. It can be kind of hard when you only write a line or two. Write away--I'll read what you have to say. (Although I prefer blue sky.)
We had so much rain here this past summer that houses literally floated away. I'm guessing that's not the kind of rain you're looking for. I also love reading what you have to say. That said, I ramble on and on forever. I could write a novel about going to the bathroom, though, so I'm no judge.
