So I usually don't post out of order because my OCD tends to get the better of me, but for the benefit of this blog I am going to post in sort of reverse order of the events of the past few weeks.
Let's start with Tommy Boy's 35th Birthday which took place yesterday!! Now, I don't know what happens every year when Nov. 14th (and thereabouts) rolls around, but someone is always sick. And it usually happens to be the stomach variety of illness which is the most fun. This year in keeping with tradition, all three of our kids took turns being sick between the 11th and the 14th of November. But in between loads of laundry, sterilizing every surface in our home, and tending to three very needy children, we managed to celebrate Thomas Grover! We started by going out to eat with Holly and Jeremy and Dan and Wendy on Friday night while Mom graciously watched all of the kids and took care of Benjamin who was sick. Then we gathered for dinner and cake at our home on the 14th. Here are some pictures of the festivities.
