Savannah fell asleep on my parents couch the other night and as we were buckling her into her car seat to go home she says with her eyes closed, furrowed eyebrows, and a very concerned voice,
"Did you get my boots?"
"Yes, Savannah, I got your boots."
"My cherry boots?"
"Yes, I got your cherry boots."
These boots have become a permanent fixture on Savannah. She puts them on first thing in the morning and only takes them off to try on other tantalizing pairs of shoes that don't belong to her. I wonder if she'll ever outgrow her shoe/boot obsession?

I think it is a little girl thing. Olivia is the same way with boots. She has pink princess boots that she HAD to have when we were at Target.
It turned out in her favor though, since we were in Anaheim and going to Disneyland. They made her tall enough to go on the rides. (She was only a smidgen too short.)
But, I don't blame your Savannah.. those are DARLING boots!
haha..oh ravi..she does love those things! i never see her without them..but i dunno if that's saying much since i rarely see her anymore!!
It's cute, and I love that you feed that obsession of hers. Who knows, she may be in love with shoes for the rest of her life!
I love this child...I will definitely have to bring her some shoes when I come to visit...
Heidi I just love reading your blog. I doubt the shoe fettish will ever go away, but hey, at least she's got good taste! They are very cute boots!!!
